New member, Bill Morgan, writes "I heard about the “Brown Dog Mafia” from Janet Kimbrough and it sounded like a lot of fun. My dog, Susie, is a five year old chocolate out of GRHRCH Missy’s Cajun Dakota and GRHRCH Jordan Valley’s Super Molly. She received her first Grand Pass at 22 months and her Grand Title at 34 months. She just received her fifth Grand Pass at the North Texas Grand. She has her Upland Hunter title and is also a member of the HRC 500 point club (working on the 1000 point club with 800 current points). One other major accomplishment was Fourth Place at the 2002 Mack’s Prairie Wings World Duck Dog Championship in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She is an awesome dog to hunt with – she picked up eleven specklebellies yesterday, several of which would certainly have been crippled losses if not for Susie (that tells you a little something about our shooting ability!).
Dave Kress reports he "met Roy Mackey (Brown Dog member) and his wife this weekend at Shreveport. What wonderful people. The Brown dog challenge resulted in a tie I think. We all did equally poor. Chance and Austin out in the open 1st series. Our young dog , Hope took a 2nd in the “Q” so it was worth the trip".
